St. Clare's Balika Bhavan took birth on 1st July in 1978 in Fathimapuram, a remote area in Changanacherry in the district of Kottayam. The aim is to provide shelter and education to the poor girls, according to our charism. They study in the near by schools and they are entrusted to the love and care of the sisters who are dedicated in the service of these children. The sisters teach catechism in Sunday School and responsibly carry out all the pastoral duties assigned to them.
